How to replay a competition as an animated race

Premium: every point of a competition or a period replayed as a race, with overtakes, key moments and the podium, from the Competitions page or the leaderboard.

The race recap turns the history of a competition into a short animated race: each racer is a member, each scoring action pushes their kart forward, overtakes light up, and the podium waits at the finish. Nothing is invented: positions come from the real points, in the real order.

Before you start

• The team must be on the paid plan. On the free plan the screen shows the premium presentation and, for managers, a button to Plans and billing.
• A race needs at least one scoring action in the competition or period.

Steps

1. Open Competitions. On a past competition, click Race recap; on the current one, click Replay the race so far. From the leaderboard, with the Competition period selected, the Race recap button does the same.
2. The race opens full screen: Grid (the racers), Start (the lights), then the Race: one step per scoring action, with its date, the member, the action and the points. The kart of the member who scored turns gold; an overtake or a change of leader is announced.
3. Use the controls: Play / Pause, Restart, Speed (×0.5 to ×4), the Race progress bar to jump anywhere, Previous action / Next action, and Quit.
4. At the Finish, the podium shows the top 3 and the Key moments list the race: first points, lead changes, overtakes, streaks, the checkered flag.

Result

You see how the competition unfolded, not only who won: who led early, who came back, when the decisive overtake happened.

Good to know

• Positions and points are computed by Stoloros from the actions that counted for the competition (late actions are placed when they arrived). A tie keeps the member who scored first ahead, like the leaderboard.
• Members removed from a competition do not appear in its race.
• The commentary under the key moments is written by AI only when the team's server has an API key for it; otherwise it is generated from the same facts. The line under the list says which. Scores never go through the AI.
• With reduced motion enabled on your device, the race opens directly at the finish, without animation; the controls still let you step through.
• The commentary is kept until the competition's data changes, so reopening a race is instant.

Nobody scored during that competition or period yet. Open it again once points have come in.
