How project work earns points
Completed tasks, early deliveries, milestones, delivered projects and team bonuses each have their points, with daily caps. Projects can be included or excluded.
With a project management tool connected, delivered work earns points next to CRM activity. The rules are the same for Wrike, Monday.com and Asana.
How it works
Six criteria appear in Scoring rules as soon as a project tool is connected (with the default points of the Balanced scoring):
| Criterion | Who earns it | Default points | Daily cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Task completed | each assignee of the task | 10 | 15 per day |
| Task completed before its due date | each assignee, on top of the task | 5 | 15 per day |
| Milestone reached | each assignee of the milestone | 30 | none |
| Project delivered | the project owners | 50 | none |
| Project team bonus | every member of a delivered project (owners included) | 20 | none |
| Late task | each assignee of a task completed after its due date | 0 | none |
- A task counts once, the day it is completed. Reopening and completing it again does not count twice.
- A late task is logged in the action log with 0 points by default, so the manager can see it; the manager can give it points if the team prefers.
- Only members matched by email address earn points. A task without an assignee earns nothing.
- Under Projects that earn points in the Manager area, the manager can exclude projects (an internal sandbox, for example). At least one project stays included.
- Nothing is counted before the connection: the first read is a snapshot. Past deliveries do not earn points.
Example
Ana Ruiz completes "Write copy" on Tuesday, two days before its due date: 10 + 5 = 15 points. Ben Ito reaches the milestone "Ship v1": 30 points. When the project "Website relaunch" is delivered with Ana as owner, Ana gets 50 + 20 and Ben gets 20. Totals: Ana 85, Ben 50.
