Several CRMs: which one counts?

When two CRMs or two project tools are connected, the manager picks the source of truth: only its actions earn points, the other stays connected.

A team can connect more than one CRM, and more than one project management tool, for example during a migration. To keep the leaderboard fair, only one source per family counts: the Source of truth.

How it works

  • Each family (CRM, project management tool) has its own source of truth.
  • With a single connected source, it is the source of truth: nothing to choose.
  • With two or more connected sources in the same family, a Source of truth box appears under the connected sources in the Manager area. Pick the one whose actions earn points. The others stay connected and keep reading, but their actions earn nothing until you pick them.
  • Until you choose, none of these sources earns points: a message reminds you to choose.
  • The source of truth carries a badge Source of truth on its card. The other cards look dimmed.
  • If you disconnect the source of truth, the remaining connected source becomes the source of truth automatically.
  • Points already earned are never removed when you change the source of truth: only actions logged from now on follow the new choice. Manager awards and demo data are not concerned.

Example

Acme Sales connected Brevo in January and HubSpot in March. On the day HubSpot is connected, the manager picks HubSpot as the source of truth. From that moment, Ana Ruiz's deals in HubSpot earn points; the deals she still closes in Brevo do not. Her points from January to March, earned with Brevo, stay on her record.
