I am not taking part in the current competition
A banner says you are not taking part: your manager removed you from this competition. You keep your access, your actions are logged but not counted, and you can be reinstated at any time.
Your manager can take a member out of the running for one competition, for example during a long training or a leave. If that happens to you, Stoloros tells you clearly, and nothing else changes: you keep your access and your history.

How it works
- On the Leaderboard, a banner above the table says You are not taking part in the current competition. and reminds you that your actions stay in your history but do not count. Your row is not in the table for this competition.
- In My performance, the same banner appears under your name. Your rank shows "—" and the line under the curve says Not ranked.
- Your actions keep arriving in your Action log, but while you are removed every action of this competition shows +0 with Not counted (removed from the competition), including those from before the removal. Your total for the competition shows 0.
- The Week, Month and Season tabs are not affected: every action still counts there.
- Your manager can reinstate you at any time. From that moment, your new actions count again. The actions from before the removal and during it stay at +0 for this competition.
- If the Removal from and return to a competition emails are on, you receive an email when you are removed and another when you are reinstated. You can turn these emails off in My profile > Emails.

Example
Ana Ruiz is removed on Tuesday. She had 180 points in the competition: during the removal, her total shows 0 and all her actions are marked Not counted (removed from the competition), +0. On Wednesday she wins a deal: it appears in her log, +0 as well. On Friday her manager reinstates her. The two tasks she completes that afternoon count: her total becomes 20. The earlier actions, including the Wednesday deal, stay at +0 for this competition, but they count in the Week and Month tabs.
Good to know
- Being removed is not a deactivation: you can still sign in, open the leaderboard, send and receive cheers and change your profile.
- Only managers see the reason of a removal. It is not shown to you and not in the email.
- A removed member is not rewarded at the closing and is not in the encouragement sequence.
- Your colleagues who open your performance see the banner too, with "This member is not taking part in the current competition."
FAQ
I was reinstated. Why is my total still low?
Only the actions logged after the reinstatement count for this competition. The actions from before the removal and during it stay at +0 here, but they still count in the other periods.
Will I be back in the next competition?
It depends on the scope your manager chose: This competition only puts you back automatically at the next competition; Until reinstated keeps you out until your manager clicks Reinstate.
