How to deactivate or reactivate a member

Remove someone's access when they leave the team, without losing their past actions.

When someone leaves the team, deactivate them. They lose access at once and leave the leaderboard, but their past actions stay in Stoloros.

Before you start

  • Stoloros does not delete members: it deactivates them. You can reactivate them later.
  • You cannot deactivate your own account.

Steps

Deactivate a member

  1. Open Manager area from the top menu and go to Team members.
  2. Find the member's row. The actions are on the right (marked 2).
  3. Click Deactivate.

Step 3: member actions in the Team members card
Step 3: member actions in the Team members card

Reactivate a member

  1. In Team members, find the row marked Deactivated. It appears greyed out.
  2. Click Reactivate.

Result

After deactivation, the message "… no longer has access and left the leaderboard. Their past actions are kept." appears. The member's status becomes Deactivated:

  • They are signed out on all their devices and can no longer receive a sign-in link.
  • They no longer appear on the leaderboard.
  • Their past actions, points and awards stay recorded.

After reactivation, the message "… has access again." appears. The person signs in again with a new link from the Sign in page.

Good to know

  • You can also deactivate a pending invitation, for example if the address was wrong. The invitation link then no longer gives access.
  • A manager can deactivate another manager, but not themselves.
  • Final standings of closed competitions never change.
  • Deactivating a member does not delete their data. To delete a whole team's data, contact Stoloros support. See Data and privacy.

FAQ

Ana Ruiz left the company. Will her points disappear from past competitions?

No. Closed competitions keep their final standings, with Ana in them.

I deactivated Ben Ito by mistake. What do I do?

Click Reactivate on his row. His past actions are still there. He signs in again with a new link.

Can a deactivated member still see the leaderboard?

No. A deactivated member has no access to Stoloros.
